This Museum, the only of its kind in Portugal, was created thanks to the availability of the collector Fernando Taborda, to the commitment of the Escape Livre Club, to the cooperation with ACP - Automóvel Clube de Portugal and the dynamism of the city of Gouveia.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and total commitment of these entities, this project became successful in showing the best miniature collections that exist in Portugal, which increases Gouveias’ attractiveness.
The Automobile Miniatures Museum has many rooms dedicated to exhibitions (permanent and temporary) about automobile miniatures.
The visitor has the opportunity to time travel and verify the automobile evolution in diverse areas through the observation of models from different brands.
The aim of this project is to encourage young people to collect as a cultural manifestation that can develop capacities and competences.
