Remember that the Elite classes must register their entries in OriOasis AND in IOF Eventor!

How to register

All runners must register their entries using the platform OriOasis. The registration in the Model Event must also be made in the same platform using one extra available field.

The FEDO federates must also register throught the private area of OriOasis using the login credentials of the FEDO entry system and  loging-in here.

Elite classes:

During entry process, Elite runners must provide their IOF World Ranking ID. All the athletes in those classes also must register in IOF Eventor.

The Male Elite class will be splitted in two. The bests according to World Ranking IOF (at 25 of january 2016) will run in M21SuperElite and the remaining in M21Elite.

 Information needed for an entry

– Full name of the participants;

– Birth year;

– Club name;

– Country;

– IOF World Ranking ID, for elite class runners;

– SportIdent Card number (if the participant already has one, otherwise one will have to be rented*);

– Entry class for each participant;

– Define the events to participate for each participant (in case of participation only in some day(s)/event(s) please mention which one(s));

– Entries for Open classes can be done until the day of the event, although conditioned to the availability of maps.
*SI-Card Rental: 1,00€/race (for competition and formation classes, free for open classes). Losing or not returning a rented SI Card implies payment of 50€.

Note: In open classes participants can do the events in groups or alone. However, even in groups each person pays their entry, once has their own map and classification.

Open Classes
Any gender/age, alone or in groups
Easy Short (PROM 1) Courses with 2 to 4 km, using linear references, specially paths, without technical difficulty. There isn’t need Orienteering knowledge or physical endurance. It’s a good opportunity to a do a walk in the forest.
Difficult Short (PROM 2) Course within 3 to 5 km, where is essential to have some Orienteering skills. Medium technical difficulty and low physical endurance needed.
Easy Long (PROM 3) Courses between 4 to 6 km, with low technical and physical demand, with a course using mainly linear references.
Difficult Long (PROM 4) Course with 4 to 7 km. Medium/high physical endurance needed, and some solid Orienteering technique.

Portugal “O” Meeting – Pre-O Competition

Paralympics Class This class is restricted to handicapped people.
There are no restrictions related with participants’ age or gender.
Open Class There are no restrictions related with participants’ age or gender.

Sport Insurance:

– Athletes affiliated in POF are covered by POF insurance
– National and Portuguese resident non-affiliated athletes are covered by POF insurance;
– Foreign and/or non-resident athletes are not covered by any insurance. They should provide for their own security and insurance.

How to pay

 POM 2016 entries fees can be paid by Secure Online Payment (POS), Bank Transfer or directly at the Event Center in cash (cash payment only for clubs/athlets affiliated at the Portuguese Orienteering Federation).

Entries of clubs/athlets not affiliated at the Portuguese Orienteering Federation will be considered valid only after full payment.

In order to simplify the accreditation process, organization prefers payments made ​​by Secure Online Payment since payment processing is automatic.

If you have made an Express Entry in OriOasis, please include the Express Code on bank transfer description.

For full club payment, please indicate the club name on bank transfer description.
For partial club payments, please include the club name and athlete list in the confirmation comment, or send us an email (payment@pom.pt) listing all athletes included in the payment and the confirmation as attachment.

All transfer expenses should be supported by the one ordering the transfer. Any transfer expenses charged by the bank to the Organization will be added to the club open fee.
