During the Portugal O-Meeting, there is also the opportunity to experience the tradition and lively atmosphere of the Mira Municipality Carnival.
On 15 and 17 February, the traditional Carnival Parades will take place, both starting at 14:30, providing an excellent opportunity for athletes, teams and accompanying persons to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the municipality.
Sunday, 15 February – Praia de Mira
Parade through the streets of Praia de Mira.
After the parade, the celebration continues at Largo da Barrinha, with live music from the band Forró Só o Filé, ensuring plenty of entertainment and a great atmosphere.

Tuesday, 17 February – Mira
Carnival Parade through the town centre, featuring the energy, creativity and joy characteristic of this festive season.

Between competitions and moments of rest, take the opportunity to discover the more festive side of Mira and celebrate Carnival with us.

There will be no printed or digital final bulletin for the Portugal “O” Meeting 2026.

The final technical information for Tuesday Long Distance Chasing Start stage is now online.
Please note that on this day the starts will be in Chasing Start format for all competition classes, and there will be interval starts for all athletes who are more than 60 minutes behind the leader of their class.
