Event Center Open

The POM Event Center is open from today at 10:00 at the Museu dos Palheiros, in Praia de Mira.

Over the coming days, you will be able to collect your bibs, pick up maps for the Model Event and training sessions, resolve any issues and obtain all necessary information.

Our team is ready and available to assist you.

The Event Center opening times and locations throughout the POM are as follows:

Thursday – 12 February
10:00–20:00 – Museu dos Palheiros de Mira (Praia de Mira)

Friday – 13 February
08:00–20:00 – Museu dos Palheiros de Mira (Praia de Mira)

Saturday – 14 February
07:30–15:00 – Arena Mira Norte

Sunday – 15 February

Mira Carnival

During the Portugal O-Meeting, there is also the opportunity to experience the tradition and lively atmosphere of the Mira Municipality Carnival.

On 15 and 17 February, the traditional Carnival Parades will take place, both starting at 14:30, providing an excellent opportunity for athletes, teams and accompanying persons to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the municipality.

Sunday, 15 February – Praia de Mira
Parade through the streets of Praia de Mira.
After the parade, the celebration continues at Largo da Barrinha, with live music from the band Forró Só o Filé, ensuring plenty of entertainment and a great atmosphere.

Tuesday, 17 February – Mira
Carnival Parade through the town centre, featuring the energy, creativity and joy characteristic of this festive season.

Between competitions and moments of rest, take the opportunity to discover the more festive side of Mira and celebrate Carnival with us.
