During POM 2026, we had the honour of hosting three stages with GOLD WRE status, welcoming some of the world’s finest Foot Orienteering athletes. Each of these stages featured its respective prize-giving ceremony, marking a historic milestone: for the first time, Prize Money was awarded in POM stages.
In addition, the PreO Sprint stage stood out in this edition with the presence of the country’s top athletes (with the exception of Ori-Estarreja athletes, who were part of the organisation), alongside a strong field of international competitors representing their national teams and demonstrating their high competitive level.
It was the largest Precision Orienteering event ever held in Portugal, bringing together 136 athletes in competition — surpassing previous editions of POM and the WTOC 2019.
For all these reasons, we proudly present the Hall of Fame of the POM 2026 stages.
