Duarte Pacheco (37\u00b008&#8217;29.5&#8243;N\u00a08\u00b001&#8217;33.7&#8243;W).<br \/>\n\u2013 IMPORTANT: any of these infractions implies expulsion from space.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"babysitting\"><\/a>Babysitting<\/strong><br \/>\nWe will have babysitting services at all 4 forest stages of the POM.<br \/>\n\u2013 Registration for Babysitting in OriOasis is mandatory;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"model\"><\/a>Model Event<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2013 Model Event will be in 28 and 9th February ;<br \/>\n\u2013 The maps will be distributed during the accreditation, at the Event Center;<br \/>\n\u2013 Please select \u201cModel Event\u201d during your registaration process. Not registering to the model event is subject to map availability.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"training\"><\/a>Training Events<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2013 The training camps will take place on 25, 26 and 27 February and are a simulation of the Portugal \u2018O\u2019 Meeting.<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll have the training camps timed with the SPORTIdent system and with Air+ mode activated, and there will also be results.<\/p>\n<p>All the training pitches are medium-distance and there will be three courses of varying difficulty:<br \/>\nGreen &#8211; for beginners<br \/>\nYellow &#8211; Medium course with technical difficulty<br \/>\nRed &#8211; Medium\/long course with technical difficulty<br \/>\nEach training camp costs \u20ac5\/day.<\/p>\n<p>25 February (Day-3 &#8211; Tuesday): S\u00e3o Br\u00e1s de Alportel<br \/>\n26th February (Day -2 &#8211; Wednesday): T\u00f4r<br \/>\n27 February (Day -1 &#8211; Thursday): Quinta do Lago<\/p>\n<p>Registration is compulsory at orioasis, the training camps do not include sports insurance, if you wish please send an email to info@pom.pt, plus a fee of \u20ac2\/day.<\/p>\n<p>Registration until 31 October for \u20ac5, after this date and until registration closes \u20ac7.<\/p>\n<p>Training camp maps will be handed out in the car park.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"elitemasculina\"><\/a>Men Elite classes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 During the entry process, Elite runners need to provide their IOF World Ranking ID. All the athletes in those classes need to be registered also in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eventor.orienteering.org\/Events\/Show\/6443\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IOF Eventor<\/a>.<br \/>\n\u2013 Due to the large number of competitors, this category will be divided into M21SE (super elite) and M21E (elite), with the criterion for separation being the World Ranking of the registered athletes, 20 days before the competition.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"chasing\"><\/a>Chasing Start<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; On the last stage, all the Elite classes (M21SE, M21E and W21E) will have a Chasing Start close to the Arena;<br \/>\n&#8211; Athletes who are more than one hour after the first or didn\u2019t run one of the forest stages will have a mass start one hour after the first start;<br \/>\n&#8211; The first athlete in the finish will be the winner of the respective class.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"peitoral\"><\/a>POM Bib<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; All athletes must use the POM bib, given during the accreditation;<br \/>\n&#8211; Only athletes with POM&#8217;s official bib correctly placed are allowed to start the race;<br \/>\n&#8211; The bib will have the following information: number, name, SI-Card number, class, club and country.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"sicard\"><\/a>SI-Card Change<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Any SI-Card change must be done before the start in the secretariat. It will not be allowed any start with changes of information not validated previously at the secretariat.<br \/>\n&#8211; Each change will cost \u20ac3.00.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"sistemacontrolo\"><\/a>Control System<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; The control system used will be SPORTident;<br \/>\n&#8211; Contactless AIR+ mode will be active on all forest and sprint races;<br \/>\n&#8211; Anyone who does not own a SIAC can use any other SI-Card with no problem;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"tempospartida\"><\/a>Start times<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; It won\u2019t be allowed any change of start times in the event days;<br \/>\n&#8211; In case of any constraint related with start times (example: the need for an early start time in the last day) please write it down during the entry process;<br \/>\n&#8211; Open classes won&#8217;t have a start time, they will have a time interval where they can start with &#8220;START\u201d SI-Station.<br \/>\nHowever, a list with starting times will be generated, which should be minimally respected, so that there is no accumulation of athletes in the same minute.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Any changes to start times must be made by email before day 0 (the previous Friday). Athletes with changes not previously validated will not be allowed to start.<br \/>\n&#8211; Each change will cost \u20ac3.00.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"tempoprova\"><\/a>Race time limits<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; The race time limits are:<br \/>\nLong Distance \u2013 3 hours<br \/>\nMiddle Distance \u2013 2 hours<br \/>\nSprint\u2013 50 minutes<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"fairplay\"><\/a>Fair Play<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; At the end of each course, athletes can keep their map, therefore Fair Play is requested to all participants.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"resultados\"><\/a>Results<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; The final result of Portugal &#8216;O&#8217; Meeting\u00a0 will be defined by the sum of points from all four forest stages, except in Elite classes, whose event winner will be the first runner at the finish on the last stage (Chasing Start);<br \/>\n&#8211; The Sprint and PreO events won\u2019t count to POM general classification.<\/p>\n<p>-The two sprints add up the points between them for an overall classification.<br \/>\n-The PreO, the stage classification will be the final classification<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"premios\"><\/a>Prizes<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2013 <strong>POM<\/strong>: Prizes for the first 3 athletes in each class (5 first in M21E, M21SE and W21E classes) and 3 best clubs. All W\/M10 and W\/M12 runners will receive a gift, whatever their classification;<br \/>\n\u2013 <strong>WRE<\/strong>: prizes for the 5 first in W21E and M21SE;<br \/>\n\u2013 <strong>Sprint<\/strong>: Prizes for the first 3 in each class.<br \/>\n\u2013 <strong>PreO<\/strong>: Prizes for the first 3 in each class.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"seguro\"><\/a>Sport insurance<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Athletes affiliated in POF are covered by POF insurance;<br \/>\n&#8211; National and Portuguese resident non-affiliated athletes are covered by POF insurance;<br \/>\n&#8211; Foreign and\/or non-resident athletes, the organisation will charge an additional fee of \u20ac2\/day to cover them with specific insurance.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"indicacoes\"><\/a>Traffic Indications<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Parking locations (GPS coordinates) and their distance to the arenas will be provided. From the parking, there will be orange and white arrows for the arenas.<br \/>\n&#8211; Please follow and respect the indications, both for traffic and parking.<br \/>\n<a href=\"#top\">&gt;&gt;back to the top<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"regras\"><\/a>Rules<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; POM will be regulated by Portuguese Orienteering Federation regulation.
