Portugal “O” Meeting organising committee and its stakeholders, namely Loulé City Council, have been analysing the viability of organising POM in February 2021. Due to the uncertainty on how the pandemic will develop during the next 3 months and the proximity to the event, the decision, we all are sad to communicate, is that POM 2021 in Loulé will be postponed to 2022 (26th February to 1st March). For those that were already registered and had paid, a refund will take place. Please contact us by email (info@pom.pt) if you have any further enquiries.

In the unlikely event of Portugal “O” Meeting 2021 being cancelled or if the participants are prevented from entering Portugal due to reasons related to COVID-19, the Portuguese Orienteering Federation will refund any entries amount paid. Any transfer cost will be supported by the participant (discounted in the entries amount). Note: Portuguese Orienteering Federation recommends all participants to pay any entries amount only after the 15th of December 2020.

It is with great sadness that CPOC announces that the Portugal “O” Meeting will not be held in Lisbon. The outbreak of the pandemic taking place today, which currently affects the Metropolitan Area of ​​Lisbon with greater relevance, does not make it possible for us to organize the POM along the lines we had planned and makes it impossible to maintain an event with the usual 4-day format, in the places that we consider to satisfy the needs of this great event of the National and International Orienteering.
