All the stages of Portugal \u201cO\u201d Meeting 2019 will take place in the spectacular sand-dunes terrain around Figueira da Foz.<\/h2>\r\n

Our aim for Portugal \u201dO\u201d Meeting 2019 is to provide all participants with a mix of fast and technical sand-dunes terrains, intricate sprint courses and the opportunity to escape winter for a few days and visit the fabulous seaside city of Figueira da Foz.<\/p>\r\n

Main Competition – 4 forest stages<\/h1>\r\n

The 4 forest stages will be divided into 2 arena locations:<\/p>\r\n

Stage 1:<\/strong> Arena Dunas da Tocha<\/a><\/h2>\r\n

Stage 2, Stage 3 & Stage 4:<\/strong> Arena Quiaios<\/a><\/h2>\r\n

Main Classes<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Classic competition from Portugal \u201cO\u201d Meeting. Age and gender classes from W\/M 10 to W\/M 85 will be available.<\/p>\r\n

All classes have start-times, except W\/M10 (free start-times). For Men and Women Elite, the final day of competition is a chasing start.<\/p>\r\n

Note: scale column refers to long distance races. Classes that\u00a0have 1:15.000 will run at 1:10.000 on\u00a0the middle distance races.<\/p>\r\n

Besides a beginner\u2019s course, we will have 4 open courses available \u2013 Easy Short, Easy Long, Difficult Short; Difficult Long. This classes have free start times.<\/p>\r\n

Courses for Portugal “O” Meeting 2019 were designed using the difficulty levels you can see on the table below. Use it as a reference to select the course you want to run.<\/p>\r\n

Night Sprint<\/h1>\r\n

Traditional Portugal “O” Meeting night sprint will be run on the intricate area of Figueira da Foz called Buarcos, a typical old fisherman village that will for sure provide all of you with some nice sprint courses. The arena will be placed right on the beach!<\/p>\r\n

Sprint Relay<\/h1>\r\n

The perfect way to start your Portugal “O” Meeting 2019 – a sprint relay!<\/p>\r\n

We will offer 2 types of relay courses – Competition Class (team of 4 runners with Women-Men-Men-Women) or Open Class (team of 4 runners with free constitution).<\/p>\r\n

Besides this relay classes, we will offer 4 types of individual courses: Youth, Senior, Veteran and Super Veteran.<\/p>\r\n

O tradicional prova de PreO (precis\u00e3o) do Portugal “O” Meeting ir\u00e1 realizar-se nesta edi\u00e7\u00e3o junto da Vila de Quiaios, uma zona da caracterizada por apresentar um terreno t\u00edpico de dunas portuguesas, boa visibilidade para o terreno e abundantes detalhes de relevo. A arena ser\u00e1 a mesma da etapa da manh\u00e3, tendo as partidas a 1200m.<\/p>\r\n
